We’re looking for a Traveling Learning & Development Consultant – Private Destinations to help shape the future of our workforce by driving learning excellence, building leadership capability, and strengthening talent pipelines across our destinations.

About the Role

As a Traveling Learning & Development Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring consistent, high-quality learning experiences across our Private Destinations . You’ll partner with onsite leaders and team members to elevate training delivery, strengthen leadership capability, and support employee growth through upskilling, succession planning, and career development.

This highly visible role requires frequent travel to our island destinations - including locations with large Spanish-speaking populations - where you’ll act as both a coach and consultant, driving alignment with Royal Caribbean’s enterprise learning strategy while supporting the unique needs of each location.

Drive Learning Consistency & Strategy Execution

• Ensure all training programs align with enterprise L&D strategy and brand standard
• Standardize onboarding, service excellence, and leadership training across destinations
• Conduct on-site audits to maintain quality and consistency of learning delivery

Build Leadership Capability

• Coach and mentor leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness
• Identify development gaps and deliver actionable feedback through observation and engagement
• Support initiatives that improve team performance, engagement, and leadership readiness

Advance Talent Development & Career Growth

• Champion programs focused on upskilling, succession planning, and career progression
• Support the implementation of talent development strategies and tools
• Help build strong internal pipelines and future-ready leaders

Partner & Influence Across the Business

• Collaborate with HR, operations, and corporate teams to align on business priorities
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data, feedback, and site visits
• Support change initiatives that enhance learning adoption and organizational growth

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and leadership development skills
• Experience working in hospitality, cruise, resort, or high-volume service environments
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority and build strong partnerships
• Passion for developing people and driving impactful learning experiences
• Ability to travel extensively to private destinations
• Experience working in Organizational Development, including organizational effectiveness, talent development, and change management initiatives preferred.

Language Skills

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) with the ability to deliver training, coach leaders, and communicate effectively in Spanish-speaking environments
• Additional languages such as French or Creole are a plus
