Job Summary
The Unit Operator will oversee the operation of power generation systems, ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently, and without interruption. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate power plant equipment to maintain continuous production.
- Conduct routine inspections to verify the proper functioning of plant systems.
- Record operational readings and report faults or unusual conditions promptly.
- Follow company safety policies and environmental regulations at all times.
- Assist in diagnosing operational problems and support corrective actions.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel during equipment servicing and shutdown activities.
- Help maintain efficient, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in power plant or utility operations is preferred.
- Good understanding of power generation equipment and plant operating procedures.
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals, operating instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
- A safety‑focused attitude with attention to operational excellence.
