Detailed Job Description
As a Venue Technology Manager supporting WorkWavez Solutions Pvt. Ltd. on-site in Doha, Qatar, you will take full operational, strategic, and tactical ownership of venue ICT operations, ELV infrastructure coordination, incident tracking, and technical service management. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing end-to-end technology support for sports venues and major events, coordinating closely with stadium authorities, facility management teams, and security stakeholders, managing incident tracking systems, and resolving operational technology issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage comprehensive venue ICT operations, technical service management, and technology infrastructure across sports stadiums and event facilities.
- Provide expert technology support and operational oversight for major sports venues, live events, and entertainment tournaments.
- Coordinate complex ICT and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) infrastructure deployments, network cabling, and audiovisual integration.
- Implement and oversee rigorous incident tracking, escalation protocols, and operational issue resolution workflows.
- Collaborate seamlessly with stadium authorities, facility management leadership, and security teams to ensure unified technological readiness.
- Oversee venue technology services, broadcast connectivity, and digital infrastructure throughout the entire operational lifecycle.
- Conduct regular technical audits, preventive maintenance inspections, and performance optimizations across stadium technology assets.
- Maintain comprehensive technology operations documentation, asset inventories, escalation matrices, and incident audit logs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Venue Management, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in venue ICT operations, event technology support, or stadium infrastructure management.
- Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise in ICT and ELV infrastructure coordination and sports venue technology.
- Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in incident tracking systems, IT service management (ITSM), and technical troubleshooting.
- Deep practical experience collaborating with stadium authorities, facility management companies, and municipal security forces.
- Solid practical grasp of network engineering, audiovisual systems, telecommunications, and stadium security architectures.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, crisis response, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
- Mandatory legal work authorization and physical availability for permanent on-site professional operations in Doha, Qatar.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Professional technology or project management certifications such as ITIL Foundation, PMP, or Certified Venue Professional (CVP).
- Prior professional working experience in major international sports events, Olympic stadiums, or global arena management corporations.

- Experience managing broadcast cabling, wireless distribution systems, and CCTV/access control integrations.
