The opportunity
You will lead AI-enabled video storytelling and creative video production across BCCL’s brands, advertiser solutions, and new business ventures. You will reimagine how video content is conceptualised, produced, adapted, and scaled through AI while maintaining strong creative craft, storytelling quality, audience engagement, and brand distinctiveness.
Working with Brand, Response, Times Experiences, Editorial, and Product and Technology teams, you will develop scalable AI-assisted video workflows across scripting, visual generation, motion design, editing, voice, avatars, dubbing, localisation, and content adaptation. The role combines human creativity with AI-enabled production to improve speed, quality, adaptability, and creative possibilities across formats and platforms.
What you will do
- Lead AI-assisted video development across brand films, social-first content, branded solutions, event videos, explainers, promos, and editorial storytelling.
- Translate business and creative briefs into compelling visual narratives aligned with audience needs, brand tonality, and platform requirements.
- Build AI-assisted workflows spanning scripting, storyboarding, visual generation, motion graphics, editing, voice synthesis, dubbing, localisation, and adaptation.
- Develop reusable video templates, production kits, prompt libraries, editing frameworks, and modular content structures to improve consistency and scalability.
- Adapt video assets for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, OTT, websites, events, digital extensions, and advertiser-led campaigns.
- Partner with Brand, Response, Times Experiences, Editorial, new business ventures, and Product and Technology on video-led creative solutions.
- Establish quality benchmarks and review mechanisms covering originality, visual coherence, pacing, brand alignment, copyright, ethics, and content authenticity.
- Pilot emerging AI-enabled video formats and conduct demonstrations, learning sessions, and workshops to strengthen adoption across creative and marketing teams.
What you bring
- 3–6 years of experience in video production, creative storytelling, branded content, motion design, digital video creation, or creative studio environments.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-impact visual storytelling across multiple formats and platforms.
- Proven experience conceptualising and delivering video-led creative solutions for brands, advertisers, media organisations, agencies, or content-led businesses.
- Hands-on exposure to AI-powered video creation and post-production tools, including video generation, editing, motion graphics, voice synthesis, avatars, dubbing, localisation, or prompt-led visual creation.
- Experience producing social-first videos, short-form content, brand campaigns, event films, explainers, digital promos, or branded storytelling.
- The ability to combine creative storytelling with technology-enabled production models to improve quality, speed, adaptability, and scale.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to translate business and brand objectives into compelling video-led creative solutions.
Preferred
- Experience in media, digital content, advertising, branded content studios, creative agencies, OTT or content platforms, or creator-led environments.
- Practical exposure to contemporary video production ecosystems, creator platforms, and AI-assisted content creation workflows.
- Specialised certification, programme, or hands-on training in AI-powered creative tools, generative AI applications, video editing, motion graphics, animation, or digital storytelling.
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Film Production, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Media Studies, Advertising, Digital Media, or a related creative discipline.
Equivalent practical experience, creative portfolio strength, storytelling capability, technological adaptability, and a demonstrated body of work will also be considered.
