HookahPlace MENA is hiring experienced Waiters and Waitresses for its new lounge opening at Dubai Creek Harbour this autumn. You will be the main point of contact for guests throughout their visit - taking food, beverage and shisha orders, guiding them through the menu, serving courses in correct sequence and keeping your section running smoothly from first arrival to final bill. The venue is design-led and service-driven, so we are looking for people who can hold a confident conversation, read a table, and anticipate what guests need before they ask. You will work as part of a close front-of-house team alongside runners, bartenders and the kitchen, with full training on brand standards and the menu before opening. A minimum of one to two years of waiter experience in a restaurant, lounge or café is required, along with good conversational English and current residence in Dubai.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Take food, beverage and shisha orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Present the menu confidently, explain dishes and recommend pairings or upsells.
• Serve courses in the correct sequence and maintain table standards throughout the guest’s visit.
• Monitor assigned sections, anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
• Process bills, handle cash and card payments accurately and reconcile at end of shift.
• Complete opening, side and closing duties, including station setup and restocking.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years as a waiter or waitress in a restaurant, lounge or café.
• Good conversational English and strong menu knowledge; a second language is an advantage.
• Confident with POS systems, order taking and billing.
• Well-groomed, energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work long shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Currently based in Dubai; candidates with their own valid UAE visa will be given preference.
