Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner Take and process food and beverage orders accurately
- Menu Guidance Provide detailed information about the menu items and daily specials while answering any customer inquiries
- Service Excellence Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks while keeping tabs on guest satisfaction throughout their meal
- Cleanliness Maintain cleanliness of dining areas including setting and clearing tables and ensure a tidy environment for guests
- Collaboration Work in tandem with kitchen staff to ensure streamlined communication and efficient service
- Checkout Process Handle guest payments with accuracy and professionalism providing a smooth transition as guests conclude their dining experience
- Health and Safety Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of both staff and customers
Requirements
- Prior experience as a waitress or in a similar customer service role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Positive attitude and eagerness to enhance guest experiences
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
