Walk-in Drive- Chennai: BIM Technician / BIM Coordinator / Senior BIM Coordinator – Structural

Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled BIM Technicians, BIM Coordinators, and Senior BIM Coordinators with strong experience in Structural Concrete and Structural Steel Modeling & Detailing for international building projects. The ideal candidate should possess advanced expertise in Revit Structures , Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) , and Navisworks , with hands-on experience delivering complex High-Rise Buildings, Mixed-Use Developments (Commercial & Residential), and Industrial Facilities .

The candidate will be responsible for creating, coordinating, reviewing, and managing BIM models while ensuring compliance with project BIM standards, client requirements, and multidisciplinary coordination workflows.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Modeling & Detailing

• Develop detailed and accurate Structural Concrete and Structural Steel BIM models using Revit Structures.
• Prepare structural drawings, GA drawings, sections, details, schedules, and shop/fabrication-related outputs.
• Create and maintain BIM content, families, templates, and project standards.
• Ensure all models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and client requirements.

BIM Coordination

• Coordinate structural models with architectural, MEP, civil, and other disciplines.
• Conduct model reviews and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Track, manage, and resolve clashes through coordination meetings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary BIM coordination workshops and client reviews.

Project Delivery

• Deliver BIM models and drawings within project timelines and quality requirements.
• Maintain model accuracy throughout project lifecycle stages.
• Ensure adherence to project-specific BIM standards, naming conventions, and workflows.
• Support project teams in design development, detailed design, and construction documentation phases.

Collaboration & Document Management

• Work within the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environment for model sharing, collaboration, and document management.
• Manage model exchanges, version control, and coordination workflows.
• Liaise with engineers, design managers, BIM managers, and external stakeholders.

Leadership Responsibilities (For Senior BIM Coordinator)

• Lead BIM coordination activities across multiple disciplines.
• Mentor and guide BIM Technicians and BIM Coordinators.
• Review model quality and ensure compliance with company BIM standards.
• Develop and implement BIM best practices and project workflows.
