WE ARE HIRING – WAREHOUSEMAN | QATAR
We are looking for an experienced Warehouseman to join our team in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-check incoming shipments against delivery notes received from freight forwarders.
- Inspect incoming materials and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Verify physical materials against purchase order specifications.
- Communicate discrepancies to the Storekeeper and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Perform repacking, labelling, and storage of materials in the correct locations.
- Issue materials according to picking lists and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures are followed.
- Verify that quantities on hand (QOH) match the actual stock during picking.
- Report stock mismatches to the Storekeeper.
- Ensure materials are stored in the appropriate bins as suggested by SAP.
- Recommend safety and productivity improvements to the Storekeeper.
- Use suitable packing materials to protect and preserve items.
- Operate a hand truck (pallet trolley) for material handling.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operating license issued by a recognized authority and approved by the Qatar government regulatory body.
- Operating certificates from an approved third-party training provider for forklifts, VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) trucks, and side loaders.
- Banksman training certificate from an approved training provider.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP applications is an added advantage.
