Wedding planner

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Wedding Planner to join our team in Doha As a Wedding Planner you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of weddings from initial consultations with clients to the day of the event Your main goal will be to ensure that each wedding is a memorable and stress-free experience for the couple and their guests

Responsibilities

• Meet with potential clients to discuss their vision for their wedding and provide them with detailed proposals and cost estimates
• Work closely with vendors such as caterers florists photographers and musicians to secure services and negotiate contracts
• Create timelines and schedules for each wedding ensuring that all details are covered and deadlines are met
• Oversee the set-up and decoration of the wedding venue according to the couples preferences
• Coordinate transportation for the wedding party and guests if necessary
• Manage the budget for each wedding making sure that expenses stay within budget limits
• Act as a point of contact for clients throughout the planning process addressing any concerns or changes that may arise
• Ensure that all legal requirements are met for each wedding such as obtaining necessary permits or licenses
• Oversee the smooth execution of each wedding on the day of the event troubleshooting any issues that may arise

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Wedding Planner or in a similar role
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and vendors
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure
• Knowledge of different cultures and customs related to weddings
• Proficiency in event planning software is preferred
• Must be fluent in English
• Own visa preferred
