Account Executive to Senior Account Executive

SolComms, an award-winning integrated communications agency for startups and scale-ups at the intersection of corporate and consumer communications, is seeking an Account Executive-Senior Account Executive to join its growing Influencer team .

In this role, you'll serve as a strategic driver and media powerhouse, owning client relationships, leading campaigns from concept to coverage, and mentoring the next generation of talent.

Here's what you'll do:

Campaign Execution & Management

• Strategically build influencer lists for both paid and earned seeding campaigns, providing colorful and specific reasoning for why each talent fits the brand's creative.
• Draft campaign briefs and share with the client for approval before distribution to influencers.
• Manage the full content funnel: review influencer content, provide feedback, secure client sign-off, and send final "Go Live" approval and instructions to influencers.
• Flag content to clients directly as soon as it goes live and provide daily campaign status updates via Slack or email.

Earned Seeding & Gifting

• Manage outreach for gifted products and monitor all social platforms for coverage resulting from those gifts, supported by the Account Coordinator, where applicable.
• Identify and flag relevant influencers for gifting opportunities or potential long-term partnerships with clients.
• Oversee the Account Coordinator in sending packages and gifts from SolComms' office.
• Support in building earned influencer seeding lists, when necessary.

Client Communications

• Kick-start agendas for all bi-weekly client calls and develop comprehensive call recaps for distribution to the client in partnership with the Account Coordinator on an account-by-account basis.
• Actively participate in overarching strategy sessions and take ownership of building out assigned sections of strategy decks.
• Participate in bi-weekly client calls and share proactive updates with the client via Slack/email in real-time.

Reporting & Documentation

• Pull final reporting metrics via CreatorIQ or influencer screenshots and ensure they are accurately added to the internal and external trackers.
• Responsible for drafting campaign, event recaps, and monthly upfronts, passing them to the Associate Director for final sign-off.
• Update the CRM with notes on how influencers were to work with to assist in future sourcing.
• Consolidate all influencer invoices and ensure they are sent to the Associate Director for final processing with the Finance Manager.
• Monitor MightyScout on a daily basis and flag to clients in real time.
• Flag applicable influencers, news, and social trends, and share strategic recommendations for gifting or partnerships, both internally and externally.
• Create relevant case studies post-campaign for new business or team presentations.

Influencer Relations

• Build your roster of industry relations by securing influencer dates with three agents/influencers per quarter.
• Own drafting mailer outreach notes; occasionally, first line of review of notes from Account Coordinator.
• Review influencer lists created by Account Coordinators, with little-to-no-edits.
• Assist in the drafting of influencer contracts under the guidance and final approval of the Associate Director.

Mentorship

• Continue to be a sounding board and resource for Account Coordinators and Summer Associates; offer advice and counsel to help improve their workflows.

Here's what you bring:

• 2-5 years of account management experience in an influencer marketing or integrated communications agency, with a proven track record managing paid and earned influencer campaigns end-to-end.
• A portfolio highlighting high-impact influencer campaign success, including strategic talent sourcing, seeding, and gifting programs that translated brand creative into compelling, on-platform content.
• Deep fluency in the influencer and social media landscape, demonstrating an advanced understanding of platform trends (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms), content formats, and what drives authentic audience engagement.
• An established network of active relationships within the influencer and talent ecosystem, including contacts with talent agents and managers, and hands-on experience with platforms like CreatorIQ and MightyScout.
• Proven experience managing the full influencer campaign lifecycle, from brief development and content review to client reporting and recaps.
• Strong client presence: you can read a room, present a vision, and guide a conversation toward a decision.
• Collaborative working style where you partner fluidly with strategy, design, social, and production teams.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior team members in a professional setting.
