Job Description
The Business Development Coordinator will support the firm’s Private Equity and related practices by assisting with client development, marketing initiatives, and business development projects. This role will work closely with attorneys and internal teams to support new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pitches, proposals, RFPs, and client presentations.
- Coordinate information and deadlines for business development projects.
- Prepare and maintain attorney, matter, and practice-area materials.
- Support legal rankings, awards, and directory submissions.
- Assist with events, conferences, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership.
- Research clients, prospects, competitors, and market trends.
- Maintain CRM records, target lists, and relationship information.
- Help identify new business and cross-selling opportunities.
- Support reporting, meetings, business plans, and special projects.
- Collaborate with attorneys and business development teams across the firm.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or a related field.
- Law firm or professional services experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM and business development platforms preferred.
- Interest in private equity, corporate law, financial services, or related industries is a plus.
- Willingness to occasionally travel for events and conferences.
