This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to learn how to sell, prospect, develop a market and build relationships with business leaders.
Bridgeway Partners is hiring a Business Development Representative to join our professional search team. You’ll learn how to create opportunities from cold outreach, understand businesses and their hiring needs, and develop the skills to eventually manage client relationships of your own. No sales experience is required. We care more about ambition, curiosity, coachability and work ethic than a polished résumé.
Why Professional Search?
Professional search sits at the intersection of sales, consulting, talent and business strategy. Companies invest heavily in finding the right people because few decisions affect a business more than who it hires. Our job is to understand those needs, build relationships with decision-makers and help companies access talent they may not be able to find on their own. For someone beginning a career in sales, it’s an opportunity to learn how to sell a sophisticated professional service where trust, judgment, communication and influence matter.
Why Bridgeway?
Bridgeway Partners is entering its 21st year and the next stage of our growth. Our objective is to double the business by 2030 through new markets, better technology and systems, and the development of the next generation of sales professionals. You’ll learn alongside experienced professionals, including highly successful partners who have spent decades building client relationships and developing business. Our approach is not about chasing transactional, one-time sales. We focus on becoming a trusted search partner to the companies we serve and building relationships that last.
What You’ll Do
You’ll start by learning the fundamentals of business development:
As your skills develop, you’ll begin managing assigned companies and relationships, learning how businesses operate and identifying opportunities before there is necessarily an immediate need. Over time, you’ll gain exposure to discovery, presentation, negotiation, relationship management and consultative selling while participating in increasingly senior-level conversations.
Where Can This Lead?
Our goal is that over your first 18–24 months , you develop the skills required to grow into an Account Executive, Search Consultant or other high-level sales professional. Along the way, you’ll build practical experience in prospecting, business development, executive communication, negotiation, relationship management, consulting, organization, resilience and influence.
Who Should Apply?
You may be a strong fit if you:
We’re not looking for someone who already knows how to sell. We’re looking for someone with the drive and curiosity to learn how to do it exceptionally well.
If you want an early-career opportunity with meaningful responsibility, direct mentorship and a steep learning curve, we’d like to meet you.
