Job Title: Cashier
Location: Abu-Dhabi
Salary: 1200 AED
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cashier for our business in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate should have a background in accounting or finance and be knowledgeable about cash handling procedures. No experience is required, however the ideal candidate should have a good understanding of customer service principles.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of banking procedures, teller operations, and cash handling
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy in carrying out tasks
- Good communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred)
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive payments by cash, check or credit cards.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Compute and record totals of transactions.
- Issue receipts for all purchases made by customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the cash register area.
Salary: 1200 AED
