Civil Works Site Manager

• Manage construction, building, and commissioning activities at customer sites
• Oversee site mobilization, civil works, erection, and commissioning work
• Plan and execute departmental operations or professional activities within the technical discipline
• Manage or support construction and commissioning teams
• Handle staffing and performance development responsibilities
• Execute policy and strategy using technical knowledge and analytical thinking
• Propose solutions for complicated manufacturing processes and interdependent production cycles
• Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues
• Lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements
• Explain information and build team consensus
• Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or Diploma in civil works (Engineering/Architectural/Civil or equivalent)
• 8 years' experience in Civil Works construction site activities in HV substation business
• Prior Civil Works experience in UAE of HV substations civil aspect or international experience
• Knowledge of scheduling and subcontractor management in civil works building field
• Capacity to work in an international context
• Good oral/written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of NOC, COC, and all permit processes in UAE
• Computer literate, including Excel and MS Project
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Ability to work under pressure with consistently good performance
• Willingness to work or mobilize within any part of UAE and/or abroad
• Ability to multitask while maintaining good performance
