Our client, a fashion brand, is seeking a Color & Concept Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis in NYC!
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Associate and Concept & Color Designer with day-to-day color development and color process for Women’s and Kids.
- Maintain and update color palettes in Illustrator and on digital boards across seasons, keeping color names and numbers consistent.
- Organize and maintain the color library, including seasonal color dips and strike-offs by category.
- Order color materials and standards from vendors, and prepare and send packages to cross-functional partners and suppliers.
- Respond to color-related requests from design, production, and merchandising teams.
- Support seasonal research and concept and CAD preparation, and help with concept presentations, internal lookbooks, and cross-functional projects at deadline.
- Handle administrative tasks across the end-to-end color and concept process.
Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of experience in fashion, design, retail, or a related creative or organizational setting, with demonstrated interest in fashion, design, or art (internships, freelance, coursework, and personal projects count).
- Foundational understanding of color theory and design research.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with strong attention to color codes, names, and standards.
- Strong follow-up skills and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
