Consultant Family Medicine

Role Description

The Consultant Family Medicine role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The Consultant will provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals and families, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for acute and chronic conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with other medical specialists as needed. The role involves promoting preventive care, managing patient education on lifestyle and wellness, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with relevant standards and regulations. The Consultant will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the clinic or hospital and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Child Welfare and Case Management to manage care plans and support the health needs of children and families.
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Services and Community Outreach to connect patients with appropriate resources and promote health within the community.
• Candidates should possess skills in Psychology to understand patient behavior, provide basic mental health support, and make appropriate referrals.
• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and recognized specialist qualification in Family Medicine.
• Proven experience in family medicine or primary care in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to patient safety, evidence-based practice, and continuous professional development.
