About Lawhat
Lawhat is a Dubai-based brand specialising in luxury decorative wall panelling and innovative interior finishing solutions. Our collections include bamboo wall panels, flexible stone, fluted panels, fabric panels, and other premium architectural finishes.
Working with interior designers, architects, contractors, developers, and homeowners across the UAE, we are passionate about transforming spaces through exceptional design and materials.
As our brand continues to grow, we are looking for a creative, energetic, and highly proactive Content Creator & Videographer to join our team full-time.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who lives and breathes content creation.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is constantly thinking of new ideas, identifying opportunities to film, and finding creative ways to turn everyday business activities into engaging social media content.
You will be responsible for the entire content production process, from brainstorming and scripting to filming and editing, producing high-quality content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.
Your content will cover everything from product showcases and behind-the-scenes moments to installation processes, customer interviews, team activities, and day-in-the-life videos.
You do not need expensive cameras or advanced production equipment. High-quality iPhone filming and editing using CapCut or similar software is perfectly acceptable. What matters most is your creativity, storytelling ability, attention to detail, and ability to consistently produce engaging content.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works independently, and doesn't need to be told what to film every day.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Filming
- Film engaging, high-quality photo and video content on a daily basis using an iPhone, smartphone, or professional camera.
- Regularly travel to customer and installation sites across Dubai and the UAE to capture installation processes, transformations, before-and-after footage, and completed projects.
- Produce a variety of content, including product showcases, educational videos, behind-the-scenes footage, day-in-the-life videos, team activities, customer testimonials, and trending social media formats.
- Conduct natural, engaging interviews with customers, installers, contractors, and team members.
- Capture both planned content and spontaneous moments that could make interesting social media posts.
- Ensure footage is visually appealing, well-composed, properly lit, and aligned with Lawhat's premium brand positioning.
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit short-form videos and Reels using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing software.
- Deliver polished, ready-to-publish content that follows Lawhat's brand guidelines, creative direction, and quality expectations.
- Incorporate effective hooks, transitions, subtitles, music, sound effects, and pacing to maximise audience engagement and retention.
- Adapt and optimise content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Pinterest, taking into account the requirements and best practices of each platform.
- Maintain consistent visual quality, branding, and storytelling across all content.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Creative Planning, Scripting & Ideas
- Continuously brainstorm and pitch fresh, original content ideas.
- Research emerging social media trends, popular formats, and successful content within the interior design, home improvement, construction, and lifestyle industries.
- Write engaging video scripts, attention-grabbing hooks, and creative shot lists.
- Transform everyday business activities into interesting, engaging, and shareable content.
- Develop creative approaches to showcasing products, explaining their benefits, and highlighting completed installations.
- Proactively identify filming opportunities without waiting for instructions.
- Collaborate with management to ensure content supports Lawhat's marketing objectives and brand identity.
Organisation & Content Management
- Plan and manage daily and weekly filming and editing schedules.
- Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, and installation teams to identify upcoming content opportunities.
- Organise site visits, filming requirements, and customer interviews.
- Maintain a well-organised library of footage, photographs, edited videos, and creative assets.
- Track content production progress and ensure agreed deliverables are completed on time.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and last-minute filming opportunities.
- Take ownership of assigned projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in content creation, videography, or social media video production, ideally with at least 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating engaging short-form video content, particularly Instagram Reels and TikTok-style videos.
- Confident filming with an iPhone or smartphone, with a good understanding of composition, lighting, camera movement, and audio.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar video editing software.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, video hooks, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Ability to independently develop ideas, script, film, and edit content.
- Excellent creative instincts and strong attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to conduct interviews and interact professionally with customers.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel regularly to installation sites and other filming locations across the UAE.
Highly Desirable
- UAE driving licence.
- Experience creating content for interior design, architecture, real estate, construction, home improvement, or lifestyle brands.
- Experience filming customer testimonials, behind-the-scenes content, and on-site projects.
- Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Pinterest content formats and best practices.
- Basic photography and photo-editing skills.
- Experience developing creative concepts and storyboards.
- Comfortable appearing on camera when required.
- Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
The Ideal Candidate
We are not looking for someone who simply waits for instructions and edits videos.
We want someone who:
- Is naturally creative — constantly thinking of new ideas and interesting ways to tell a story.
- Takes initiative — spots content opportunities and acts on them independently.
- Understands social media — knows what makes someone stop scrolling and watch a video.
- Has an eye for aesthetics — can make products, materials, interiors, and everyday activities look visually impressive.
- Is confident and outgoing — comfortable approaching people, asking questions, and directing simple video shoots.
- Is organised and efficient — can balance daily filming, editing, planning, and deadlines.
- Is adaptable — happy to work in the showroom, warehouse, office, or on active installation sites.
- Takes ownership — genuinely cares about producing great content and improving with every project.
Above all, we value creativity, initiative, consistency, and a genuine passion for content creation over expensive equipment or formal qualifications.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary of AED 5,500–7,000 per month , depending on experience and ability.
- Full-time employment with a growing Dubai-based interior design materials brand.
- UAE employment visa and medical insurance in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Monday to Friday working schedule, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Opportunities to film a wide variety of products, interiors, installation projects, and customer experiences.
- A creative environment where your ideas and contributions are encouraged.
- The opportunity to take ownership of content creation and contribute directly to the growth of the brand.
