Responsibilities
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of costing, budgeting, and financial analysis processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and analyze operational and financial data to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
Analyze costs, financial performance, operational metrics, variances, and other key business drivers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Support business systems, financial systems, and data-related activities, including data validation, testing, troubleshooting, process improvements, and system enhancements.
Prepare reports, financial models, analyses, presentations, and supporting documentation to help leaders evaluate business performance and make informed decisions.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce inefficiencies, strengthen controls, and improve the accuracy and reliability of financial and operational information.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing processes, identifying areas of waste or inefficiency, and helping develop and implement practical solutions.
Work collaboratively across departments and functions to support organizational goals and ensure alignment between financial and operational activities.
Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning while contributing to a collaborative, respectful, and results-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Advanced degree or relevant professional experience may be considered in place of some educational requirements.
Experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, operational analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
Experience working with financial, operational, or enterprise business systems and the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
Ability to gather, organize, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to interpret financial and operational information and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and teams across different functions and levels of an organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, take ownership of responsibilities, receive and apply feedback, and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, process improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar approaches is preferred.
