Description
Responsible for protecting an organization's networks, systems, and data from cyber threats. Monitors for vulnerabilities, responds to security incidents, and ensures compliance with security policies and regulatory standards relevant to Qatar's digital infrastructure.

- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including root-cause analysis
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IAM systems, and endpoint protection tools
- Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and disaster recovery plans
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive countermeasures
- Train staff on security awareness and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and threat detection tools
- Experience with SIEM platforms and incident response procedures
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during active incidents
