Unified Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced Data Center Passive Technician with strong hands-on experience in racking, stacking, cabling, and passive infrastructure setup in enterprise data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform racking and stacking of servers, switches, storage, and other DC equipment
- Fiber & copper structured cabling , patching, labeling, and testing
- Rack mounting, cable routing, cable management
- Basic troubleshooting of passive infra and DC environment
- Follow DC safety, compliance, and standards
- Maintain installation logs, rack layouts, and documentation
- 2-5 years of experience in data center passive support
- Strong understanding of rack installation, cabling standards, and DC airflow management
- Experience with fiber OTDR, light source/power meter , and cable testers (preferred)
- Ability to lift and install hardware safely
