Digital Content Creator

CREATOR

Stop Making Ads.

Humour Me is building India’s most effective organic attention company.

We don’t believe in making content for the sake of content.

We believe attention is earned.

Through better stories.

Better ideas.

Better execution.

We’re looking for creators who understand how people behave online and know how to create content people actually choose to watch.

⸻

The Role

This is not an influencer role.

This is not a social media executive role.

This is not a presenter role.

We’re looking for creators.

People who can spot an idea, turn it into content and package it in a way that earns attention organically.

You’ll work across categories including:

• Entertainment

• Commerce

• Health

• Technology

• Lifestyle

• Finance

• Beauty

• Culture

No two weeks at Humour Me look the same.

⸻

What You’ll Do

• Create short-form content across Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

• Develop original content formats and series

• Script, present and perform in front of camera

• Study internet culture, trends and audience behaviour

• Build content that earns shares, saves and conversation

• Work with strategists, editors and creative teams

• Participate in shoots and content production

• Constantly test, learn and improve

• Help build creator-led brands and communities

⸻

You Might Be A Great Fit If

• You naturally create content even when nobody asks you to

• You understand what makes people stop scrolling

• You are comfortable on camera

• You consume internet culture obsessively

• You have strong opinions and can communicate them clearly

• You understand memes, trends and online behaviour

• You are curious about how platforms actually work

• You enjoy experimenting and learning

• You are hungry to become exceptional at your craft

⸻

We Care About

• Curiosity

• Taste

• Storytelling ability

• Camera confidence

• Work ethic

• Learning velocity

• Ownership

• Consistency

• Adaptability

We do not care about:

• Degrees

• Fancy resumes

• Previous job titles

• Agency pedigree

⸻

What Success Looks Like

• Creating content people choose to watch

• Building repeatable content formats

• Consistently earning organic attention

• Understanding audiences better than competitors

• Becoming a trusted creator within your category

• Helping brands become part of culture rather than interrupt it

⸻

Important Expectations

This role is designed for creators who want to build exceptional content at scale.

Content creation at Humour Me is highly collaborative and production-led.

Creators are expected to work primarily from our office and production environments.

This is not a work-from-home role.

A significant part of the job involves:

• Ideation sessions

• Content reviews

• Production planning

• Filming

• Collaboration with editors, strategists and fellow creators

• Real-time iteration and feedback

We believe the best content is built together, not in isolation.

⸻

Category Exclusivity

As a creator, you may become the face of specific brands, categories or content ecosystems.

To protect the integrity of those properties, category exclusivity may apply depending on the role and business requirements.

This means creators may be restricted from independently creating competing content within the same category while representing that category professionally.

We support creators building their personal brands.

We do not support creators competing with the brands they represent.

⸻

What Doesn’t Work Here

• Low ownership

• Creator entitlement

• Excuses over execution

• Waiting for instructions

• Chasing trends without understanding people

• Taking feedback personally

• Believing effort matters more than outcomes

• Wanting creator upside without creator accountability

⸻

How To Get Our Attention

Don’t send us a fancy resume.

Show us:

• A piece of content you’re proud of

• A take that made people care

• An idea you wish existed

• A creator you admire and why

• Something that proves you understand attention

We’re far more interested in how you think than what’s written on your CV.

⸻

The Kind Of Person We Want

Someone who notices things others don’t.

Someone who can turn an observation into a piece of content.

Someone who understands that attention is the most valuable currency on the internet.

Someone who is willing to put in the reps.

And someone who wants to become exceptional at earning attention.

⸻

Mission

Stop Making Ads.

Create things people would watch even if they weren’t paid to.
