Role Description The Wedding Specialist - Event Production is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating weddings from concept to completion, including venue setup, décor coordination, vendor liaison, and timeline management. The specialist will manage production logistics, oversee event rehearsals, and ensure all technical and creative elements are executed smoothly on the event day. Daily tasks include client consultations, developing detailed event proposals, managing budgets, preparing production schedules, and monitoring quality and safety standards on-site. The role also involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver memorable, well-organized wedding experiences that align with client expectations and Apex Events' service standards.

Qualifications

• Strong event planning and event management skills, with experience coordinating weddings or similar large-scale events.
• Hands-on event production skills, including managing logistics, technical requirements, and on-site execution.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Budgeting skills, including creating, tracking, and optimizing event budgets while maintaining quality standards.
• Prior experience in the events or hospitality industry, preferably in wedding coordination or luxury events.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Proficiency with basic office software and event management tools; knowledge of production equipment is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar and collaborate in a diverse, inclusive work environment.
