We are looking for a Gold Refinery Director for a Gold Refinery company based in the UAE Location Dubai Commercial Base amp Sharjah Refinery UAE Salary 20 000 - 30 000 AED month

Key Responsibilities

Taking overall responsibility for the coordination and performance of the refinery operation in SharjahWorking with technical operations compliance and logistics teams to move client transactions efficiently from receipt of gold through refining settlement and deliveryMonitoring operational performance turnaround times service quality and client satisfaction and implementing practical improvementsBuilding a strong pipeline of legitimate gold suppliers across Africa the Middle East and other international marketsDeveloping repeat supply relationships with miners aggregators exporters traders and licensed dealersWinning new refinery clients among traders producers exporters and mining companies and building partnerships and referral channelsDeveloping a diversified international network of credible gold buyers and offtake partnersLeading negotiations with suppliers clients buyers and partners while protecting pricing margins and risk positionFollowing transactions through to completion in coordination with management compliance and financeIdentifying new geographic markets and commercial channels and representing the refinery at meetings and industry eventsEnsuring all business meets UAE regulatory requirements internal KYC AML procedures and responsible sourcing standardsEscalating unusual high-risk or commercially sensitive situations to senior managementReporting regularly on the commercial pipeline gold volumes refining activity transactions and revenueMaintaining a high standard of confidentiality professionalism security and operational discipline

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Gold Refinery Director to take responsibility for the overall performance and growth of a gold refining business with the commercial function based in Dubai and the refinery in Sharjah This senior role is deliberately broader than conventional refinery management alongside leading refinery operations you will bring business into the refinery by developing reliable gold supply attracting refining clients and building a network of qualified buyers Reporting to Senior Management you will turn relationships into completed transactions and recurring revenue while working closely with compliance to keep every deal properly screened and documented This is not a passive management position It suits a commercially driven leader with established industry contacts and credibility who can open doors generate measurable growth and ensure opportunities are executed properly

Qualifications & Experience

Substantial professional experience in the physical gold industry (essential)Senior-level experience as a Gold Refinery Director, Refinery General Manager, Commercial Director, Head of Business Development or a comparable role within a gold refinery or gold trading/refining businessDemonstrable track record of generating business, developing counterparties and closing commercial transactionsStrong existing network across gold suppliers, traders, exporters, miners, aggregators and buyersStrong practical knowledge of gold refining, gold sourcing and physical gold transactionsExcellent negotiation, relationship management and business development skillsCommercially driven and proactive, comfortable working independently to create opportunitiesProfessional English is required; French and/or Arabic is an advantageWillingness to travel internationally as business requires
