Location: Remote, USA or Canada

Pay Rate: $200,000–$225,000 USD (excluding annual bonus and equity)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Head of People Operations for a global vertical market software acquirer — an opportunity for an experienced HR operations leader looking to build an AI-native people function from the ground up.

• Own the design and delivery of core people infrastructure — systems, processes, compensation programs, data, and AI-enabled workflows — for a global HQ and decentralized Operating Groups.
• Lead the selection and implementation of a modern, AI-enabled global HR system: RFP, vendor evaluation, configuration, data migration, integrations, and rollout; partner with IT on performance, security, and scalability.
• Run global compensation programs and annual cycles; own job architecture, leveling, benchmarking, and pay equity analysis; build decision frameworks that reduce unnecessary escalations.
• Design and deliver core people processes across the full employee lifecycle — hiring, onboarding, transitions, and offboarding — driving efficiency through standardization and automation.
• Build the global people analytics capability; define key metrics, ship dashboards, and generate predictive insights on attrition, hiring, comp, and engagement connected to the broader enterprise data platform.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 8–12 years across People Ops or HR Operations in global organizations, with hands-on delivery of HRIS implementations, compensation programs, analytics dashboards, and workflows.
• Compensation analysis and implementation experience.
• AI and automation fluency: you've personally built and shipped AI-enabled people processes and can distinguish vendor hype from real capability across HRIS AI, agent platforms, and workflow automation tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; experience with HR policy and global employment compliance across multiple jurisdictions preferred.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are a plus.
