Inside Sales Head

About the Role

We are looking for a data-driven, high-velocity Inside Sales Head based in Kochi to build, scale, and lead our centralized inside sales engine.

In this role, you will recruit, train, and manage a multi-lingual team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) who will qualify inbound/outbound leads, conduct discovery, and schedule qualified site visits to power our field sales teams across states.

You will own the top of the funnel—ensuring seamless lead distribution, high calling rigor, pipeline velocity, and strict CRM discipline across multiple regional languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Build & Manage the Inside Sales Team : Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing inside sales team speaking regional languages (Malayalam, Odia, Telugu, and Tamil).
• Field Sales Enablement : Align the inside sales pipeline directly with on-ground field executives across Kerala, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. Ensure high show-up rates and verified site assessments for field teams.
• Calling Cadence & Scripting : Design, test, and optimize outbound/inbound call flows, consultative discovery scripts, objection-handling playbooks, and multi-channel follow-up cadences (Calls, WhatsApp, SMS).
• Pipeline & CRM Hygiene : Enforce strict data hygiene across our CRM platform. Track critical sales metrics including lead response time (speed-to-lead), connection rates, qualification rates, and appointment-to-closure ratios.
• Performance Management & Coaching : Conduct daily stand-ups, listen to call recordings, and provide direct feedback and coaching to improve rep conversion rates.
• Cross-Functional Feedback Loop : Work closely with digital marketing to evaluate lead source quality and collaborate with regional field sales heads to monitor downstream closing efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 10+ years of inside sales / tele-sales experience, with at least 5+ years leading a team of inside sales or business development reps (SDRs/BDRs).
• Domain Familiarity: Experience running high-velocity, high-ticket consumer inside sales (e.g., Consumer Durables, EdTech, FinTech/Loans, Real Estate Pre-sales, or Insurance). Solar knowledge is not required.
• Multi-Regional Exposure: Experience managing teams that handle leads across South/East India with diverse language requirements.
• CRM & Dialler Mastery: Hands-on experience setting up and operating cloud telephony/diallers (e.g., Exotel, TeleCRM, Knowlarity) and CRM tools (Zoho, LeadSquared, or HubSpot).
• Languages: Fluency in English and Malayalam is mandatory. Working familiarity or conversational capability in Tamil, Telugu, or Hindi/Odia is a major advantage.
