Our client, a leading global Am Law firm with 3,000+ lawyers worldwide, is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to support its global Life Sciences & Healthcare sector and regulatory practices.
This is a highly visible role partnering with senior sector leadership and lawyers across Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology, Healthcare, Medical Devices & Technology, and Food to drive client development, market growth, and profile-raising initiatives.
This role will be hybrid in Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute M&BD strategy and business plans across the global LSHC sector.
- Lead pitches, RFPs, targeting, and new business development initiatives.
- Drive thought leadership, marketing campaigns, client events, sponsorships, and profile-raising efforts.
- Partner with senior lawyers and global M&BD teams to strengthen client relationships and market positioning.
- Identify industry trends and growth opportunities while supporting budgets and strategic initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years of M&BD experience, preferably within a leading law firm or professional services environment.
- Established knowledge of the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector.
- Strong experience with business development, client strategy, pitches/RFPs, and thought leadership.
- Strategic, commercially minded, highly collaborative, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
- People management experience preferred.
