Job Overview
A Network Security Engineer position is available in Dubai, UAE for an experienced networking and security professional with 7–9 years of relevant experience. This is an onsite role involving enterprise networking, network security, virtualization, private-cloud connectivity, and infrastructure operations.
The role requires strong expertise in Nutanix networking, Flow and micro-segmentation, Cisco ACI, enterprise routing and switching, firewalls, load balancers, and Kubernetes connectivity. The successful candidate will also contribute to incident management, root cause analysis, disaster recovery, and security hardening. Relevant professional certifications such as CCNP, Nutanix, Firewall, or ITIL can support continued professional development and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure and security environments.
- Configure and maintain Nutanix networking, Flow, and micro-segmentation.
- Manage Cisco ACI environments, including APIC, EPGs, contracts, and bridge domains.
- Administer enterprise routing, switching, VLANs, and network connectivity.
- Manage firewalls, load balancers, and network security infrastructure.
- Support Kubernetes and private-cloud connectivity.
- Investigate and resolve network and security incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure and security issues.
- Support disaster recovery (DR) activities and infrastructure resilience.
- Implement network security hardening and security best practices.
- Participate in on-call support when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 7–9 years of relevant experience in network engineering and network security.
- Strong experience with Nutanix networking, Flow, and micro-segmentation.
- Hands-on knowledge of Cisco ACI, including APIC, EPGs, contracts, and bridge domains.
- Strong enterprise networking, routing, switching, and VLAN knowledge.
- Experience with firewalls, load balancers, and network security.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and private-cloud connectivity.
- Experience with incident management and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and security hardening.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- CCNP, Nutanix, Firewall, or ITIL certifications are preferred.
