Patient Care Specialist

Role Description The Patient Care Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for providing direct, compassionate support to clients throughout their visit, including booking appointments, welcoming clients, assisting with check-in, and guiding them through wellness services. Daily tasks include gathering and documenting patient information, explaining procedures and wellness programs in clear, accessible language, and coordinating with practitioners to ensure smooth and timely care. The Patient Care Specialist will monitor client comfort and safety, respond to questions and concerns, and help maintain a calm, organized, and hygienic environment. This role also involves scheduling appointments, updating records, and collaborating with the wider team to deliver a high-quality, holistic care experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact clearly and empathetically with clients and team members.
• Candidates should possess Patient Care and Direct Patient Care skills to provide safe, respectful, and attentive support during each visit. Experience in customer service and high emotional quotient are extremely beneficial skills for this role.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medicine to understand practitioner instructions and explain basic concepts to clients.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling, documentation, and coordination of services efficiently.
• Candidates should possess customer service skills and a client-centered mindset, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
• Relevant experience in healthcare, wellness, or a similar client-facing environment is preferred; training or certification in nursing, allied health, or wellness disciplines is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, including flexible hours as needed, and proficiency in English and Arabic; additional language skills are beneficial.
