Power International Holding is looking for a skilled Risk and Schedule Analyst to support the Group's Delivery Assurance function by analysing project schedules, assessing delivery risks and identifying early warning signs across construction and infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Delivery Assurance Director, this role will work closely with Delivery Assurance Managers to validate project data, monitor schedule performance against baselines, assess risk exposure and provide actionable insights to support timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project schedules for logic quality, open ends, constraints, negative float and unrealistic durations.
- Compare schedule updates against approved baselines and previous periods to identify critical path changes, float erosion and forecast completion delays.
- Support delay analysis and recovery planning for projects requiring additional assurance.
- Review project risk registers for completeness, ownership, risk quantification and mitigation status.
- Conduct schedule and cost risk analysis and assess confidence levels in forecast completion dates.
- Monitor project early warning indicators and elevate emerging risks to the relevant Delivery Assurance Manager.
- Maintain accurate schedule and risk data within the Group's governed reporting model.
- Collaborate with project planners to improve data quality and develop repeatable analysis, templates and automated checks.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4-7 years of experience in planning, scheduling or project controls within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tools, including XER files, schedule logic, calendars, constraints and float analysis.
- Familiarity with the DCMA 14-point schedule assessment and qualitative and quantitative schedule risk analysis.
- Strong Excel and Power BI skills; knowledge of SQL or Python for automation is preferred.
- Proven ability to develop or improve analytical tools, scripts or templates that improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Essential: Demonstrated AI Fluency
Candidates must demonstrate practical, hands on use of AI or scripting to automate schedule checks, validate project data, identify anomalies or detect potential delays. The ability to provide a real example of improved efficiency or analysis is essential. General awareness of AI tools or use limited to drafting and presentations will not meet the requirement.
