Ensure the provision of a safe and environmentally compliant work environment for all Company and Contractor personnel on plot facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for safety equipment and facilities.
- Ensure regular inspection, testing and maintenance of fixed and portable equipment.
- Assist in developing and delivering SEQ training programs.
- Monitor maintenance and construction activities under permit-to-work systems for SEQ compliance.
- Support emergency response, incident investigations and reporting.
- Direct safety, environment and quality technicians to ensure compliance with required standards.
- Ensure adequate availability of safety equipment, emergency supplies and protective clothing.
- Develop and implement safety programs, recommend improvements and maintain safety documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' varied experience in Safety or HSE.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and planning skills.
