Role Context

The Sales Assistant contributes to both commercial performance and the quality of the customer journey. Daily responsibilities involve welcoming shoppers, providing useful product information, supporting purchase decisions, and completing assigned operational duties. Maintaining an organized and visually appealing store is equally important. The role requires consistent attention to housekeeping, customer-facing areas, fitting rooms, and the cash wrap while supporting the standards established by store management.

Customer Experience

• Welcome customers promptly with an energetic and approachable manner.
• Maintain the required professional appearance and dress standards.
• Create a positive first impression when customers enter the store.
• Engage naturally with shoppers throughout their visit.
• Provide relevant assistance based on individual customer needs.

Product Assistance and Sales

Provide customers with current and relevant information about available products to support informed purchasing decisions. The Sales Assistant will actively contribute to sales performance by responding to customer requirements, maintaining product awareness, and identifying suitable opportunities for additional sales.

Fitting Room Service

• Assist customers using fitting room facilities.
• Provide timely follow-up when further assistance is required.
• Maintain a service-focused approach throughout the fitting room experience.
• Identify appropriate opportunities to recommend additional products.
• Support an efficient transition from product selection to purchase.

Cash Wrap Service

Deliver efficient service at the cash wrap while maintaining an orderly checkout environment. Responsibilities include offering gift cards, capturing required customer information in the database, and ensuring the cash wrap remains clean and ready to serve customers.

Store Standards and Presentation

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Complete housekeeping duties assigned by store management.
• Keep customer-facing areas presentable throughout trading hours.
• Support established visual presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness around the cash wrap and other assigned areas.
• Help ensure the store remains welcoming and ready for customers.
