The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Access Governance Specialist to oversee identity governance, access reviews, role-based access control, and access lifecycle management. The successful candidate will ensure that user access is appropriately authorized, regularly reviewed, and aligned with organizational policies, security standards, and applicable UAE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage identity and access governance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Conduct periodic user access reviews and certification campaigns.
• Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and least-privilege principles.
• Review access requests, approvals, role assignments, and segregation of duties.
• Oversee joiner, mover, and leaver access governance processes.
• Identify excessive, dormant, orphaned, or unauthorized user access.
• Coordinate with IT, Cybersecurity, HR, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Support identity governance and administration (IGA) platforms and access management tools.
• Maintain access inventories, approval records, audit trails, and governance documentation.
• Monitor policy exceptions and coordinate remediation of access control weaknesses.
• Prepare governance reports, compliance metrics, and management dashboards.
• Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in identity governance, access management, or information security.
• Strong knowledge of RBAC, access certification, segregation of duties, and IAM controls.
• Familiarity with IGA solutions, directory services, and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity standards and UAE compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
