Magnify is looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer who knows how to turn complex data into reporting that business leaders can actually use to make decisions.

This role will focus heavily on developing and optimizing enterprise Business Intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy, SQL, and cloud-based data warehousing. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to understand what they need from the data, translate those needs into scalable reporting solutions, and build dashboards and analytics that provide meaningful visibility into business performance. There are locations in Charlotte, NC - Stamford, CT - Atlanta, GA. You can be located in any of these markets!

You might be a great fit if you have :

1. 7+ years of Business Intelligence development experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with a master’s degree, in a related technical or business discipline.
2. Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise BI reporting and visualization solutions using MicroStrategy.
3. Advanced SQL experience building, querying, testing, and optimizing data used in Business Intelligence products.
4. Strong understanding of data warehousing, including dimensional data models and how data should be structured for reporting and analytics.
5. Experience building and performance-tuning MicroStrategy dashboards, dossiers, documents, reports, and cubes.
6. Experience working with Amazon Redshift or comparable cloud data warehouse environments and translating business requirements into scalable BI solutions.

What you’ll actually DO :

• Design and develop enterprise MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and analytics that help leaders understand performance and make informed business decisions.
• Translate business requirements into sustainable BI solutions and determine how data should be consumed within the reporting environment.
• Build and optimize SQL against enterprise data warehouses for reporting, analysis, discovery, and testing.
• Develop visually effective dashboards that transform complex datasets into information business users can quickly understand and act on.
• Performance-tune MicroStrategy dossiers, documents, cubes, SQL generation, and caching strategies for efficient access to information.
• Partner with business and technical teams to prototype, test, refine, document, and deliver new reporting capabilities.
• Extend existing BI architecture as new data and functionality become available while maintaining scalable and supportable solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers while helping establish effective BI development practices.
