Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a Senior Frontend Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE, for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on owning major frontend areas, building complex user interface workflows, improving performance for data-heavy applications, and mentoring frontend engineers.

The successful candidate will work on data exploration interfaces, dashboards, and administrative tools. They will also optimize interfaces that handle large datasets and real-time updates, contribute to design system architecture, and ensure accessibility and right-to-left (RTL) support across products.

This role is suited to an experienced frontend professional with strong React and TypeScript skills, a focus on production-quality interfaces, and the ability to collaborate with and mentor other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own major user interface workflows, including data exploration, dashboards, and administrative tools.
• Optimize performance for data-heavy interfaces, including tables with more than 10,000 rows and real-time updates.
• Ensure accessibility in line with WCAG AA/AAA requirements and support RTL layouts across products.
• Contribute to the design system by developing design tokens, primitives, and complex components.
• Mentor junior and mid-level frontend engineers and support their professional development.
• Participate in the frontend on-call rotation to help maintain reliable product operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5–8 years of frontend engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of user interface development.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Experience with state management and frontend performance optimization.
• Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques in production environments.
• Ability to build user interfaces for cloud-based SaaS deployments.
• Strong preference for experience in design system architecture, RTL and internationalization (i18n), and performance optimization.
