Senior Hindi Copywriter & Content Quality Specialist

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop original Hindi copy for advertising campaigns, social media, brochures, posters, patient education materials and branding collaterals.
• Develop campaign ideas, headlines and narratives directly in Hindi so that the original thought and emotional impact are not lost in translation.
• Translate and trans create English content into natural, engaging and culturally relevant Hindi.
• Simplify complex medical information into clear, accurate and patient-friendly language.
• Write and review Patient Information Leaflets (PILs), brochures, advertisements, signage and other patient-facing communication.
• Conduct detailed Hindi content QC for grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, terminology, tone and readability.
• Work closely with medical, marketing and design teams to create cohesive and visually impactful communication.
• Ensure consistency with Medanta’s brand voice across all Hindi communication.
• Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity without compromising originality, accuracy or editorial judgement.
• Ensure Medanta’s Hindi communication remains fresh, engaging and industry-leading.

Functional Responsibilities

• Manage Hindi content assignments from ideation and writing to proofreading and final approval.
• Adapt content across print, digital, social media, outdoor, video and patient education formats.
• Review content developed by internal teams, agencies and external translators.
• Proofread final artworks to identify language, formatting or typesetting errors.
• Conduct research to understand patient needs and create relevant, empathetic communication.
• Coordinate with doctors and medical teams to ensure clinical accuracy.
• Maintain consistency in commonly used medical, departmental and brand terminology.
• Ensure content meets applicable healthcare communication and regulatory standards.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Hindi copywriting, advertising, brand communication, content creation, publishing or journalism. Agency experience is preferred.
• Excellent command of written Hindi/ English, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary and Devanagari usage.
• Strong ability to conceptualize and write original content in Hindi/ English
• Proven experience in Hindi translation, transcreation, proofreading and content quality control.
• Working proficiency in English, with the ability to interpret English briefs and source material accurately.
• Ability to simplify medical, scientific or technical information without changing its meaning.
• A strong portfolio of Hindi campaigns, advertisements, brochures, scripts, digital content or long-form communication.
• Strong storytelling, headline-writing and persuasive communication skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong ownership, intellectual curiosity and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitals, pharmaceuticals or wellness communication is preferred but not mandatory.
