Jones Networking is recruiting for a Senior/Partner-Level Family Law Attorney to join a growing law practice in Charlotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for an established family law attorney with a portable book of business who is looking for a platform to continue growing their practice while having access to the resources, infrastructure, and support of an established firm.

The ideal candidate will have significant North Carolina family law experience, a strong reputation in the legal community, and an established client base or portable book of business. This position offers significant earning potential, a lucrative bonus structure, and the opportunity for long-term growth within the firm.

Family Law Attorney Responsibilities:

- Independently manage a diverse and complex family law caseload from initial consultation through resolution

- Represent clients in matters including divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, child custody, child support, and other domestic relations matters

- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while providing exceptional legal counsel and service

- Manage and grow an established book of business and continue developing new client relationships and referral sources

- Handle negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials as appropriate

- Provide strategic legal guidance and develop case strategies tailored to each client's individual needs

- Collaborate with other attorneys and firm professionals on complex matters

- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm's family law practice

- Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys and support staff as appropriate

- Maintain high standards of professionalism, client service, and legal work product

- Participate in business development and networking activities to expand the firm's presence and client base

Family Law Attorney Requirements:

- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing

- Significant family law experience, with a strong preference for Senior Associate, Partner, or equivalent-level experience

- Established and portable book of business required

- Demonstrated success managing complex family law matters independently

- Strong courtroom, negotiation, mediation, and client-management skills

- Established professional network and referral relationships within the legal and/or business community

- Strong business development and client relationship skills

- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to quickly learn and utilize new technology, case management systems, and other legal software
