To perform operational tasks and duties as required within the Carbon Plant to assist Qatalum in achieving its business objectives.

Key Accountabilities - 1

Follow of all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Departmental Reports

Generate or assist in generation of any departmental reports are prepared as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements governing reporting.

Health, Safety and Environment

Comply with all agreed occupational health, safety and environmental regulations in order to protect personnel and physical assets. Ensure that the work areas are kept in a clean and tidy state in order that work can be carried out safely and effectively.

Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of the company practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.

Qatarization

Support the development and training of National employees.

Key Accountabilities - 2

Production Targets

Ensure that work carried out in the respective area contributes to the shift and daily KPI’s/PI’s in order to meet predefined targets

New Technology

Assist the shift supervisor in introducing new tools, technologies and work routines to shift workers in order to increase awareness and improve efficiency

Maintenance

• Perform first line maintenance on equipment in order to minimize costly downtime or eliminate as needed.
• Identify and report any maintenance and modification ensuring that any malfunctioning equipment is immediately and rapidly repaired or replaced.

Minimum Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma
• GCC Driving Licenses

Minimum Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Carbon Plant Operations
