Silver Stars Fitness is a leading NYC fitness/wellness company that caters and specializes in helping older adults improve their health and overall fitness level.

About the Role

We are seeking Yoga & Pilates instructors for our new wellness division. Position entails teaching small group 3- 5 people) Pilates & Yoga Sessions, in addition to private Yoga/Pilates.

Responsibilities

• Candidate will be responsible for teaching small group Yoga and Pilates to older adults. This position is a part-time position that is a great complement to a full-time job or for someone that is looking for additional income and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a minimum of ten years experience teaching Yoga and/or Pilates to older adults and will be certified by a recognized industry organization such as Stott Pilates etc...
• Instructor must be friendly, high energy and have strong communication and customer service skills and enjoy working with older adults.
• Must have own liability insurance.

Required Skills

• Ten Year Experience in teaching Yoga and/or Pilates.
• Ability to work with older adults.

Preferred Skills

• Additional certifications in fitness or wellness.
• Strong communication skills.

Pay range and compensation package

$60 per 50 minute session, bonus and holiday pay.
