Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in West Hempstead, NY. In this position, the intern will support the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content across multiple platforms, including drafting posts, selecting visuals, and assisting with short-form videos. The intern will monitor social channels for engagement, respond to comments and messages under guidance, and help track performance metrics such as reach, impressions, and follower growth. Daily tasks include researching trends, hashtags, and competitor activity, assisting in campaign brainstorming, and ensuring brand consistency in all communications. The intern will also collaborate with the marketing team on digital marketing initiatives and provide administrative support related to content calendars and reports.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support campaigns and platform growth.
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop engaging posts aligned with brand goals.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for online and internal interactions.
• Basic understanding of major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) and their best practices is beneficial.
• Enrollment in or completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in West Hempstead, NY, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with a creative team is essential.
• Familiarity with content creation tools (such as Canva, basic video editing, or similar software) is a plus.
