Staff Nurse

Monitor patients before and after procedures and report any changes promptly.

Maintain proper infection-control and hygiene practices.

Assist with wound care, dressing, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.

Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment, and basic health care.

Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.

Ensure proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment.

Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, and patient-safety standards.

Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.

Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and assist in emergency procedures.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
• Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
• Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
• CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
• Candidate must be able to lift and position patients on endoscopy stretcher and transport patients
