We have partnered with a leading regional financial institution to hire a Strategy Consultant. This is a senior strategy seat with direct access to Group leadership, working on the questions that shape where the Group invests, partners and grows across banking, insurance, asset management and payments. This role suits a strategist from a top-tier consultancy who combines sharp financial services knowledge with the commercial judgement to turn analysis into decisions.
About the role:
- Lead strategy projects across the Group's financial services portfolio, including growth strategy, market entry, operating model design and portfolio review
- Build business cases and investment recommendations for the Group CEO and executive committee
- Support M&A and partnership activity, from target screening and due diligence through to integration planning
- Track regional and global financial services trends, regulation and competitor moves, and translate them into clear priorities
- Work with business unit leaders to turn strategy into execution plans with measurable outcomes
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and the Board
About you:
- 8+ years in strategy consulting at a top-tier firm, with a focus on financial services, or equivalent in-house strategy experience at a major financial institution
- Deep knowledge of at least one of banking, insurance, asset management or payments
- Track record of leading complex strategy engagements from problem definition through to executive recommendation
- Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis skills
- Exceptional communicator with the presence to operate at C-suite and Board level
