Heavy Civil Superintendent | Cleveland, OH | up to $175,000
Renewyx have partnered with an established heavy highway contractor to bring on a Bridge Superintendent for a project in Cleveland, OH.
Most bridge superintendents I talk to have the same complaint. You spend a year or more building a structure, getting the crew dialed in, keeping the owner happy, and the moment the project wraps up, there's nothing lined up for you.
This company doesn't hire that way. They don't bring supers on for one job and let them go. When this bridge is done, you move straight onto the next project in their pipeline across western PA and Ohio, and you stay close to home while you do it.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲:
You'll run a bridge structure job from mobilization through to paving, a 14 month project starting around November. You'll own the site day to day, coordinate crews and subs against the schedule, and work to the owner's requirements, whether that's a state DOT or a railroad.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:
- Superintendent experience on heavy highway bridge structures
- Based in western PA or northeast Ohio, within reach of Cleveland day to day
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record (you'll run a company truck)
𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 (𝗯𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱):
- Railroad bridge experience
- Broader heavy highway work across roads, structures and paving
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿:
- $140K to $175K base, depending on experience, plus an annual performance bonus
- Permanent, long-term role
- On-site, 4x10 schedule
- Company truck and fuel card
- 401(k) with safe harbor match, healthcare with a 50% employer contribution, and paid vacation
You don't need to tick every box. If you've built bridges and you want a company that keeps you working after the job ends, or you know someone who does, send me a message.
