Job Description – Chartered Accountant (Fresher)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Chartered Accountant (Fresher) to join our Accounting and Reporting team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and financial closure activities while ensuring adherence to IND-AS and company policies. The role requires SAP exposure , strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MIS & Excel .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Assist in the preparation of draft financial statements and related schedules.
• Support the valuation of inventory in compliance with accounting principles.
• Ensure accurate accounting as per company policies and IND-AS standards.

2. Financial Closure & Compliance

• Work on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure activities .
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IND-AS) and statutory regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and compilation of disclosures forming part of financial statements.

3. Audit & Coordination

• Support internal and statutory audit processes by coordinating with relevant teams.
• Prepare and maintain financial records to facilitate smooth audit procedures.

4. MIS & Data Management

• Assist in MIS reporting for financial analysis and decision-making.
• Work on Excel & SAP for data processing and reporting.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors for seamless financial processes.
• Implement and maintain effective record-keeping systems .

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Fresher (Qualified in recent attempts).
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and auditing principles .
• SAP exposure is preferred.
• Knowledge of IND-AS and statutory compliance .
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a structured and deadline-driven environment .
