Welder, Al Shamkhah City
We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Al Shamkhah City. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining and cutting metals using various welding techniques.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Follow safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a vocational school or an apprenticeship program is preferred
- Familiarity with metal fabrication techniques, tools, materials, and safety standards
- Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, etc.
- Experience in operating forklifts and other machinery is a plus
Salary: 1100 per month. Will consider immigrants.
