Apartment Search Consultant

Looking for the right career, but just haven’t landed on it? This could potentially be it…

Apartment Insiders, an energetic and fun apartment finding company, is growing in the Charlotte-area market. We are looking to fill several professional Apartment Search Consultant positions ASAP. We love bringing our world class service and client first experience to current and future residents of Charlotte everyday! We are very established. Our experienced local Founder created this apartment finding real estate niche in Nashville 9 years ago and expanded into Charlotte over a year ago.

Many apartment communities trust Apartment Insiders to bring them pre-qualified residents. The service is totally free to the resident. The apartments pay us a commission for helping fill one of their vacant apartments.

Our Consultants make a nice living ($80,000 - $200,000 annually) while still having flexibility. You’ll control what you earn.

Apartment Insiders will provide you with best-in-class:

• Tools
• Training
• Systems
• Also, solid leads that close.

If you want to be part of something fast-growing and cool, we might be a match. But...

You must enjoy helping people and possess the following 3 traits:

• People Oriented – You enjoy spending a high percentage of time successfully working with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds to achieve “win-win” outcomes.
• Customer Relations – You tend to convey your sincere interest in your customers and their needs/challenges.
• Competitiveness – You have a natural ability to be tenacious, bold, and possess a will to win. You’re always looking to be the best version of yourself you can be both at work and at home (however, we pride ourselves on not having a dog-eat-dog culture but rather a supportive one).

If these three things don’t apply to you, or you needed a nap between bullet points, no need to keep reading. If they do apply, please read on…

You must love music and puppies. It’s vital that you are authentically enthusiastic about living in the Charlotte area and can’t shut up about it. Working quickly when a new lead comes in to convert it to a lease is a must. You’ll need to be politely assertive and confident in your apartment market knowledge. Screening prospective client eligibility by asking defined questions as well as answering questions will be a priority. As will driving prospective residents to multiple apartment communities so they can select which one will be their new home.

Ambition and motivation should be in your nature. You’ll need to be a good listener with a winning attitude, an effective communicator, and maintain a professional appearance. Even when you don’t close a deal, you must ensure the apartment shopper walks away with a pleasant experience.

Our company culture is far removed from pushy salesmen, but we do expect results...

• There is a large marketing component to this role.
• You’ll be procuring your own leads, which is part of any sales job (we provide tools and training to easily and steadily gather qualified leads, you just have to put in the effort).
• Apartment Insiders provides you with additional, qualified leads.
• Expect to work with a wide variety of people to efficiently help them find their new Charlotte apartment.
• You’ll have multiple clients so juggling them effectively ensures current prospects/clients all receive first-class service.

If you do not love helping people and having fun while doing it, this opportunity is not for you. While the money and lifestyle is good, it cannot be the only reason you interview with us. We’ve got trained poodles that can sniff that out.

Your map to success:

• Following up immediately with company provided leads.
• Posting intriguing apartment ads.
• Building great referral relationships with people or places such as human resources departments, etc.
• Managing your social media accounts to attract new clients and just look professional in general.

The company’s owner/leader:

• An apartment industry veteran that has pioneered the modern apartment finding industry.
• Career entrepreneur that previously founded successful companies in the real estate space.
• Has made this highly successful in other markets and believes Charlotte apartment residents are entitled to a world class experience finding their next place to call home!
