Dining Services & Engagement Manager

We’re hiring: Dining Services & Engagement Manager | Dorchester Dining Room

We’re looking for someone who can do more than simply keep a dining room running.

The Dorchester Dining Room is seeking a hands-on hospitality professional who can help us build the dining experience, connect with residents, and increase resident participation .

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has run or been an integral part of a successful dining operation within a senior living community and understands how important dining can be to the overall resident experience.

This role will work closely with our Head Chef and community leadership to:

• Create a welcoming dining experience residents want to use
• Build relationships with residents and actively gather feedback
• Increase resident participation in the Dining Room
• Develop specials, events, themed dinners, and other dining programs
• Help build the identity and visibility of the Dorchester Dining Room
• Coordinate day-to-day dining operations and service standards
• Monitor food, labor, and operating costs
• Jump in with service, food preparation, or cooking when the team needs help

This is a hands-on position . We are looking for someone who enjoys hospitality, knows how to connect with residents, can bring new ideas to the table, and is willing to work alongside the team when needed.

Senior living dining experience is strongly preferred, particularly for someone who has helped operate or grow a successful resident dining program.
