Investor Transfers Specialist
Location: New York City (Hybrid – 3 Days In Office)
Compensation: Base Salary up to $110,000 + Benefits
About the Opportunity
A leading financial services organization is seeking an experienced Investor Transfers Specialist to support investor transfer operations for alternative investment funds. This position will serve as a key resource for transfer processing, investor record maintenance, and transaction management across private market investment products.
The ideal candidate will bring direct experience processing investor transfers within private equity, private credit, fund administration, or investor services environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage investor transfer requests from initiation through completion.
- Review transfer documentation and supporting records for accuracy and completeness.
- Validate transfers against fund requirements and operational controls.
- Partner with investors, clients, and internal teams to resolve transfer-related issues.
- Perform quality reviews and maker/checker controls.
- Maintain accurate investor records across servicing platforms.
- Monitor transfer workflows and ensure timely completion of transactions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the investor experience.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Investor Relations Operations, Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, or Investor Services.
- Direct experience processing investor transfers within alternative investment products.
- Strong understanding of Private Equity, Private Debt, or other private market investments.
- Experience reviewing transfer documentation independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and operational discipline.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
