Job Description We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Site Construction Manager in Qatar. Our client is seeking a highly experienced mechanical construction professional capable of managing large-scale site activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to approved specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Plan and coordinate mechanical construction activities according to approved drawings, schedules, and project requirements.
- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and construction teams to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions to address schedule deviations.
- Ensure site activities comply with approved quality standards, specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, subcontractor, and client teams for smooth project execution.
- Review construction drawings, method statements, work schedules, and site requirements before execution.
- Prepare and communicate construction progress, resource requirements, site constraints, and completion status to project stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Site Construction Management Ability to manage complex construction activities, manpower, resources, and schedules.
- Mechanical Construction Strong understanding of mechanical installation and site execution requirements.
- Construction Planning Ability to translate project schedules into practical site execution plans.
- HSE Compliance Strong understanding of safe construction practices and site safety requirements.
- Quality Control Ability to ensure construction work complies with drawings, specifications, and required standards.
